Please join us on Tuesday, April 8, 2008 for the first Regional Workforce Summit for the 11-county area of Western North Carolina. We need your knowledge, ideas and leadership as we address these topics:
- Workforce challenges and business needs of the advanced manufacturing, healthcare, tourism/hospitality and construction industries.
- Preparing the current and future workforce for career opportunities available in these industries.
- Connecting workforce development and economic initiatives in WNC.
- Implementing a strategic plan for strengthening the workforce and economy of Western North Carolina.
